I admit I do check in here often. I moved from here to facebook (If you grew up in Georgetown..you remember...) I would have preferred to stay at GTOL but it is like the local bars I frequented in the 1980's, you have to go where the rest of the gang is. So, as I public isolate I will keep checking into GTOL. and facebook.

Good Morning Mark, John and Peebs! I have been checking in about 6 times a year and this morning was reading about where everyone has gone. Well we know where the majority are - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. You guys are amazing to have kept this site going this long. I went for a walk this morning and was going to post a picture, but it says the file is too big. It's just a typical photo I took on my iphone. Can we change that? I think by posting pictures it will attract more interest and activity - jmho.

Hi Gloria, I'm looking into increasing the filesize allowed for photos. But could you let me know what filesizes we're talking about, please? That way I'll have a better idea of how to proceed.

Hi Gloria,

There are two issues. First, how big is a typical photo? (2 MB ? ? )

Second, do we need to increase the amount of storage available, and what would be the cost? I'm assuming we might eventually have a couple of hundred photos. At 2 MB each we'd use another 500MB or so of storage.

It looks as if we still have a goodly amount of disk space available.

So I've increased the permissible file size to 2MB.
