It was a last minute decision for Homecoming in an effort to get the word out, I took advantage of some shirts that had the Homecoming picture of the Memorial Arena on the back and had the GTOL logo on the front. I had 1/2 dozen run and I gave Bonnie hers in appreciation for her efforts both on the site itself and things she had done for Homecoming. As a good friend of mine and a celebration at hand as well as a contributor to the site, I gifted the last one to Al Ward, what do folks think of his idea, T-Shirt for donation, it would help greatly at keeping the board ad free and running smoothy as well as taking the burden away from the loyal group of supporters.

I think it's a great Idea..Either free with donations or able to buy them with cash going towards the upkeep of the site
I wear mine with great pride!!
Maybe next year when the town does the open house thingy at the mall we can get a table and advertise the site
I'm willing to hang out for a few hours and do my bit.
Could print off some pics for a display and maybe have a slideshow running on a laptop...We could sell t-shirts there
and get the word out and about
Just a thought..

Not only is it a "good idea", but deserves expanding.

I think the shirt design, as described to me by BC, needs to be freshened up and to help with sales, I think the GTOL Handmaidens (or their daughters, JenG??) should do a GTOL Calendar, modelling the the newly designed shirts.

To avoid any embarassment (scandal?) appropriate attire is a must. Equally to avoid embarassment, NO men should be considered!

I reckon it's a "Bolter" :bolt: Whaddaya think???

So far I have:
BC taking piktoors in a cemetery
JenG and her daughter doing a photo shoot
Gloria J on the golf course
LC on an ice rink
KC on a pole
...

Who've I missed?

What're your suggestions?

All January (#1) of course!

Maybe December could be the Dawn Patrol doing a "Hef", surrounded by his GTOL Gals!

Enough banter. Time for action.

BC and JenG can take the photos,
DP (Don Patrol) can do the promotion

We need the resident artist(s) to do the graphics for the new shirt. Maybe run a contest for the design.

Winner gets a free shirt and dinner with Don. 2nd place gets two dinners with Don. 3rd ... you can see where this is going. :lmao:
