BIRTHS:

FLYNN Big sister Taylor is thrilled to have a new little brother Michael Robert Flynn. Michael was born 5 weeks early on October 18th, 2005 weighing 5 lbs., 9 ozs. at William Osler, Brampton Campus. Proud parents are Debby (Winterburn) and Mike Flynn, grandparents Linda and Bob Winterburn, Dianne and Mike Flynn. Special Aunt Kathy and Uncle Terry Waldrum and Aunt Lisa and Uncle Kevin Burbine. Another special Great Grandchild to Eileen Flynn. As always our special Angel, Mary Wenn is watching over him. Thank you to Dr. Sutherland for his ongoing care and support and the NICU nurses. We have been blessed again!

DEATHS:

PROPHET, Marjorie Ellen At Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital on Wednesday November 2nd, 2005. Marjorie Prophet of Grimsby. Survived by her husband Jack. Dear mother of Penny Bailey of Burlington, Philip and Vicki Prophet of Vancouver Island and Shelley and Bob Bauer of St. Catherines. Dear grandmother of Tim, Kevin, Erin and Kari. Great grandmother of Liam, Stephanie, Caitlyn, Cassandra, Jayden, Austin and Rebecca. Dear sister and best friend of Doris Zilio of Georgetown and Roma Carruthers of Shelburne and the late Anne Teeter, Alma Morton and David and Douglas Silk. Aunt Marj will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by Christine and Norm Emma, Rachel and Nicole. Cremation. Funeral services were held at the Tallman Funeral Home in Vineland on Saturday, November 5th, 2005 at 1:30 pm.

LANE, Marlene Mae After a courageous fight, passed away quietly on Wednesday November 16th, 2005, at Wellington Terrace, Elora. Marlene (nee Sanderson), in her 59th year, wife of the late William 'Bill' Lane. Loving mother of Lori and her husband Steve Yeo, Theresa and her husband James Rice and Jackie and her husband Charlie Schwalbe. Cherished and proud nanny to Angela, Steven, Trevor, Brady, Scott and Madison. Predeceased by her brother Don Sanderson and sister Marg O'Flaherty. Friends were received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Avenue, Georgetown, 905-877-3631 on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday November 18th, 2005 at 1:00 pm. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown. EAGLES, Sharyn Euphemia Mary Peacefully at her residence in West Vancouver, on Thursday, November 10th, 2005. Sharyn Eagles formerly of Flesherton in her 64th year. Cherished daughter of Frank and the late Jean Eagles. Loving sister of Norma Jean (Don) Smith and Paul (Cathy) Eagles of Branchton. She will always be loved and remembered by her nieces and nephews, Paul (Julie) Smith of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Taraesa (Randy) Tellier of Rodney, Russell Eagles of Taiwan, Ryan Eagles and Rob Eagles both of Waterloo. The family received friends at the Fawcett Funeral Home, Flesherton on Thursday November 17th, 2005 from 7-9 pm. The service will be held at the Gentle Shepherd Community Church, Eugenia on Friday November 18th, 2005 at 11:00 am. Interment Flesherton Cemetery. HUNTER, Irene Passed away at the Village of Tansley Woods in Burlington, surrounded by her family on Friday, November 11th 2005. Irene Hunter of Milton, beloved wife of the late Clifford Hunter. Loving mother of Tom and his wife Fran of Orangeville, Carole and her husband Bill Robinson of Burlington and Jean and her husband Bruce Cannon of Ailsa Craig. Irene was a special grandma to Paul Hunter, Pam (Steve) Mitchell, Paige (Scott) Brethet, Bill Robinson Jr., Mary-Jean (Tom) Martin, David (Mary) Robinson, Cheryl (Scot) Brush, April (Marvin) MacLachlan, Lisa (Mike) Couto. She was extremely proud of her 18 great grandchildren. Special aunt to many nieces and nephews. Past member of Peace Rose Eastern Star in Georgetown and lifetime member of the Ontario Women's Institute in Ashgrove. Irene loved her volunteer work at the Georgetown and Milton District Hospital's. Family and friends visited at the McKersie-Kocher Funeral Home 114 Main St. Milton 905-878-4452 on Sunday. The funeral service was held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, November 14th 2005 at 11:00 am. Interment followed at St. Stephen's Anglican Church in Hornby. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to St. Stephen's Anglican Church Cemetery Fund or St. Paul's United Church would be appreciated.
