Parents, Sarah and John Oesch of Oakville are thrilled with the arrival of their precious son. Older sister Emma is excited and happy about her baby brothers' arrival. Congratulations are extended to grandparents Sadie and Maurice Oesch of Waterloo, Ontario who welcome their 10th grandchild and to great grandmother Adelle Colwill of Cambridge, Ontario who is blessed with her 43rd. great grandchild. <br><!--EZCODE UNDERLINE START--><span style="text-decoration:underline"><br>DEATHS</span><!--EZCODE UNDERLINE END--><br><br><!--EZCODE BOLD START--><strong>COUNTRYMAN, Bessie Tryphina</strong><!--EZCODE BOLD END--> (Born September 20th, 1917 in Bear River, Nova Scotia) On Monday August 22nd, 2005 at Extendicare Halton Hills . Bessie (nee Morgan), wife of the late Irwin Countryman and the late Gordon Rice. Mother of Arthur Rice and his wife Donna of Terra Cotta, George Rice of Napanee and Katherine and her husband Robert Poole of Surrey, B.C. Grandmother of James and Gary Rice, Robert, Kristopher and Kari Poole. Great-grandmother of Trevor, Scott, Kenedee, Anna, Ethan and Michael. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the J.S. Margaret was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Samuel John Mackenzie and brothers Nelson and John. She is survived by her sons Sandy (Betty), and David (Ann), daughter Marna Brearley, eight grandchildren, Boyd (Maureen) Brearley, Peter (Marney) Mackenzie, Greg (Heather) Mackenzie, Allan Brearley, Jonathan (Deborah) Mackenzie, Scott Brearley, Andrew (Trisha) Mackenzie, and Beth (Alan) Williamson, and thirteen great-grandchildren. Margaret was born in Seaforth, Ontario on April 20th, 1912. She attended and graduated from MacDonald College, Guelph in 1935. Margaret lived in Georgetown, Ontario from 1936 until her death. In June 2004 Margaret was bestowed the title of Honourary Companion of the University of Guelph, Class of '35. A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 13th, 2005 at 1:00 pm at the J.S. For more than 25 years Rick was the beloved husband and friend of Debbie (nee Donaldson). He was the loving and cherished father of Kevin, Liz, William Christopher, Katy and Melissa, much loved son of Audrey and the late William Vincent Salmon and stepson of Peter Stone. Rick was the loving and treasured brother of Kathryn, Debbie, Dianne and Karen. He will be sadly missed as the son-in-law of Joan and the late Budd Donaldson and as the brother-in-law of Sandy and Paul McKay, the late Jim and his wife Helena Donaldson, Mary and Dave Forrester, Peter Donaldson, Dave and Yvette Donaldson and as a caring uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Beloved husband of Marjorie (nee Knowlton). Mentor and father to Richard DeGroat and his wife Meredith, and Suzanne DeGrout. Grandfather to Maxwell, Fraser and Spencer. Predeceased by his brother Joe Hunter and his wife Kay (Lindsay, Ontario). John proudly served as Chief of Police of Lindsay, Ontario from 1953 - 1966, after which he owned and operated John Hunter Landscaping of Georgetown, Ontario. After retiring John and Marjorie moved to the Bancroft area, and together built their dream home. Thank you to his neighbours at 15 Kensington, and to all his dear friends at Brampton Woods. He was truly blessed by your care and kindness. Thank you.
