Take a look at the old Homestead today

Postby Al Ward » Fri Feb 12, 2010 7:16 pm

Check out this site, it's great. For all you folks who've been away for a while, but really for anybody anywhere take a look at this site. Type in your address, or any address, and see your old house, your current house, the house you grew up in, the house you want to buy, the old neighbourhood, anyplace almost anywhere in the world. See anyplace as it is today. And from what I can see the pictures are pretty current.

Our house is barely visible- the trees cover all but part of the garage.
And the numbering on various streets I've visited is not even close.
But what a great tool for b&e goons- case the joints from the comfort of your own home!! Combined with Google Earth, it allows planning for escape routes, overall property layouts, etc..
This must have been invented by the mob....
