Emil Kachmar,
Peacefully, after a brief illness, on Sunday March 25th, 2007 at the Georgetown Hospital. Emil, beloved husband of June (nee Jarrett) for the past fifty-five years. Loving father of Susan and her husband Roy Spiegelberg, Cindy and her husband Alan Kostynuik and Tom Kachmar. Predeceased by his daughter Linda Ann McMurdo. Cherished grandfather of Rebecca, Michael, Andrew, Nigel and Desaree. Dear brother of Anne Pecho. Also, predeceased by his brothers John and Michael.
Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Ave., Georgetown 905-877-3631 on Wednesday from 7-9 pm. A celebration of his life will be held in the chapel on Thursday March 29th, 2007 at 11:00 am. Cremation.

George Allan Finnie,
Peacefully, on Sunday March 25th, 2007 at the Georgetown Hospital. George, in his 79th year, husband of the late Evelyn (nee Hewitt). Loving father of Robert and his wife Glenna of Acton, James and his wife Judy of Orlando, Florida, Lois and her husband Ron Fiddler of Georgetown, Janice Kragh of Georgetown and Don and his wife Julie of Cameron. Proud grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Jean Rodger, Margaret Fogelman, Ruth Nealon and Barbara Chantler.

Val's visitation is Sat. at J.S. Jones in Georgetown from 1-5 p.m. and 7-9-p.m.
The funeral is Sunday at Augsburg Lutheran Church in Brampton at 224 Mill St. S. at 2 p.m.

Hey Don: What do you know about Val Kitchen? I didn't see it on the Jones web site. Did she pass away?

From the email I received this morning, on Monday Val passed away, she ha been recovering from Thyroid surgery she had about a month ago. I will post any information as soon as I receive it.

For those of you who don't know, Val had been a very long time member of the Georgetown Girl's Pipe Band (now just Georgetown Pipe Band).

Gloria/Don, would this be Val Cunningham, Bill's ex, Heather's Mom?? I'm in shock, this sure brings it home that we're getting fallible. Val piped Amazing Grace for us at Mom's funeral, she was a wonderful very caring woman :( .

Laurie, Yes it is Val, Bill's ex wife, it sure does bring some sobering thoughts, Val is from the same era as I am, it is very sad.

Thanks Don, poor Heather is expecting her third child and my heart really goes out to her, Val was definitely one of the best.

Jenkins, Valerie (Formerly Cunningham)
Suddenly after a short battle with cancer on Monday March 26th, 2007 at the Toronto General Hospital. Valerie (nee Kitchen), in her 56th year, beloved wife and best friend of Allan Jenkins. Loving mother of Heather and her husband Scott Hamilton. Proud Grandmother of Hillary and Laura. Fondly remembered by her step-childern Steven Jenkins and Dana Jenkins and her many friends. Valerie's funeral

For those that knew George Greig - his daughter Linda ( Mandarino) was a drummer in the pipe band-
he died Mon. in Florida. His visitation is Sunday in Georgetown and the funeral is Monday.
The sad news just keeps on coming.
