KAROLIDIS Constantine, Darlene, Daphne and Noah are thrilled to announce the very late but safe arrival of Simon William Stanley born March 12th, 2007 weighing 9lbs., 15oz. Simon is the eighth grandchild for Helen Karolidis and the late William Karolidis of Georgetown and the tenth grandchild for Vera MacMillan and the late Stanley MacMillan of Brantford. A special thank you to Dr. Gunaratnam and the nurses at the Georgetown Hospital. Your support and kindness will never be forgotten.

KERFOOT A delayed but happy announcement! Natasha Victoria Kerfoot entered our life January 3rd, 2007, 8lbs-4oz, 20�. She was welcomed with open arms by her two big sisters, Mackenzie and Katerina. Mom, Mandy (Bonozew) and Dad, Shane are happily enjoying the new chaos of three girls. Grandma�s and Grandpa�s Pat and Frank Bonozew and Lynda and Mike Kerfoot couldn�t be happier. Granny Molly Maneely is pretty pleased too. Nana Bordeniuk must have sent us this angel from heaven. Uncle�s Tony and Tim Bonozew and Aunt Angie and kids are enjoying her from a distance. Special thank you to Dr. Val Cvetic for all your concern and expertise. The nurses at Milton, you are all wonderful. I truly appreciate all of your care. A huge thank you for everyone who helped me including my homecare nurses.

DEATHS:

RAGBIR, Rhoda Suddenly, on March 17th, 2007, former 32 year resident of Georgetown, died in her home country of Trinidad. Rhoda Ragbir, born October 2nd, 1949, beloved wife of Melvin for the past 34 years. Loving and proud mother of Karen, Melanie and Kimberly and wonderful grandmother to Ethan. Fondly remembered as welcoming and always generous by all of her daughters' friends. Rhoda will also be sadly missed by many co-workers and friends at the Georgetown Hospital, where she had worked for 30 years, before retiring back to Trinidad in 2004. Funeral service was held on March 22nd, 2007 in Trinidad. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Georgetown Hospital could be made in honour of Rhoda.

LYNCH, Katherine (Kay) nee Lix
Born in McTaggart, Saskatchewan, February 12th, 1928, former resident of Toronto, Bronte, Palermo, Clifford, Violet Hill and Acton, died peacefully on March 17th, 2007 in the Guelph General Hospital. A former owner of the Violet Hill General Store, 4H leader, member Acton Agricultural Society, member Halton Hills Seniors Advisory Committee and a long-time member of the Women's Institute. She is predeceased by her: beloved husband of more than 51 years, John (Jack) Jennings Lynch, son Peter and granddaughters Sarah and Rachel. The people who will miss her most and love her always are her children: Edward (Rozann), Kathryn (Murray Brown), Kenneth (Maryann), Joseph (Debbie), Margaret (Scott Sherriff) and her much loved grandchildren: Simon, Jeremy, Jason, Justen, Melodee, Nathan, Shaun, Caitlin, Maddie, Stephen, Patrick and Allison. She was eagerly anticipating the arrival of her first great-grandchild. She will be deeply missed by all her extended family, friends and neighbours, both past and present, across Canada and in Holland. Special thanks to the kind and caring staff of St. Joseph's Health Care Centre, Guelph General Hospital (4 West) and Drs. Kane and Chiba. The family will receive friends at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill Street East, Acton (1-877-421-9860 - toll free) on Wednesday, March 21st from 1:00 pm until the Service to celebrate her life and legacy which will follow at 3:00 pm. Donations to: Saugeen Valley Conservation Foundation, the Canadian Liver Foundation or the Gideons would be appreciated by the family and may be made through the funeral home.

Robert Lindsay,
Peacefully on Monday March 19th, 2007 at the Bennett Health Care Centre, at the age of 81. Predeceased by his loving wife Helen (1974). Survived by his sons Bob (Shelley) of Acton, David of Acton and daughters Heather (Gary) of London and Mary - Lou (Tim) of Markham. Loving grandfather of Terri, Corey, Adam, Danny, Melanie, Brady and Morgan. Proud great grampa of Travis and Emma. Survived by sisters Jean Davidson of Guelph, Mary (Tom) Carberry of Caledon East and Barbara of Guelph. Brother in-law of B'ann (Al) Jennings of Palmerston. Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, north of Maple Ave., Georgetown, (905) 877-3631 on Wednesday March 21st, from 11-12. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at 12:00 pm. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Acton.

Suddenly and peacefully at the Georgetown Hospital - Palliative Care on Sunday March 18th, 2007, in his 73rd year. Dear husband and best friend of Phyllis (nee Terry), loving father of Teri Jane, Daryle (Jackie Sanz), Mary Anne Oribhabor (Goddey). Greatest Grandpa of Samantha Moffatt-Sanz, Kenda & Nathan Oribhabor.

Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday March 24th, at 11:30 am. Cremation to follow, private interment at Coningsby Cemetery, Hillsburgh at a later date.
