if we all have him...

Postby deeds30 » Sat Jan 19, 2008 5:32 pm

I guess that he must be a popular player or something...LOL.

Dave tells me that this is the first time that he has been injured, because he has such great knowledge of where he is on the ice. He reportedly said that he was further from the board than he was, so he did not have time to brace himself...

Don't think that I am a hockey pool fanatic, couldn't be further than the truth...LOL.

And to think, Georgetown had a real good chance of having him play for the Raiders!

I did an analysis of teams in our pool with the same players. I went through the player list from team deeds30, for no other reason than because that team is in first place, and discovered something interesting. Below is a list of players on deeds30 and how many teams that player is on, of the five total.

Crosby 5
Iginla 5
Thornton 5
Zetterberg 4
Alfredsson 4
Kovalchuk 4
Ovechkin 4
Lecavalier 3
St. Louis 1
Hossa 1

Colbuki does not have Zetterberg, Alfredsson, and Kovalchuk.
Don Fendley does not have Ovechkin. Both Don Fendley and colbuki do not have Lecavalier. Therefore, by looking at that group and the first three being eight out of the ten players, it is deeds30, Lisa Copland and Michael with exactly the same players. In the end, at this point, it comes down to the remaining two players.

deeds 30 with St. Louis and Hossa
Michael with Ribeiro and Sundin
Lisa Copland with Datsyuk and Spezza

Don Fendley shares six players with the previous three teams. The different players are Spezza, Getzlaf, Datsyuk, and Malkin.

To spice it up a little bit, I'm adding something.

IMMEDIATELY: SUBMIT FOUR HIGH SCORING DEFENSEMEN AND ONE GOALIE (wins and shutouts)

I'll wait to start them until I get all trades returned.

Just got skater boy back from the airport, fed him and now he's sleeping! I guess I'll just make the picks myself. A couple of them have the same last names as figure skaters so I'm going with them!

Check your pms Mikey - I'll send them now.

Skater boy is mad at me. I picked the wrong goaltender. I think it's his fault for being away when the picks had to be made - right?????

Hah, the fight's on now. He wants me to pick a goaltender that is ranked lower on this list than the guy I picked. I think I'm gonna ignore him.

Why indeed? What have I ever done for him but given him a home to live in and a girl to throw through the air? 8)

Team Colbuki was making a run at it, but fell short this last time. Kim is sure making up for it though by kicking my butt at Scrabulous on Facebook.
